Online Facilitator Training

Somatic Movement & Ecstatic Dance

With a virtual learning platform, our comprehensive program guides aspiring instructors, dancers, and enthusiasts from all levels through the art of ecstatic dance and somatic movement. Unleash your inner potential and become a confident trauma certified Somatic Movement & Ecstatic Dance Facilitator with the skills to heal yourself and serve others.

THE SYLLABUS

We base our program on the following principles;

EMBODY

Become a confident trauma informed certified Somatic Movement and Ecstatic Dance Facilitator who guides people through transformative movement experiences. Star your Embodiment Journey Today!

LEARN

Our somatic movement and ecstatic dance practices are structured around two core systems: The Elements and the Chakras. The six elements-earth, water, fire, air, sound and light-guide the flow of each dance journey. Each element corresponds with a specific chakra, from the root to the crown, creating a dynamic and holistic experience that integrates body, energy and spirit.

TEACH

Stepping into the role of a facilitator means embracing the path of the eternal student. Guiding others will inevitably bring your own insecurities to the surface, offering powerful opportunities to release limiting beliefs and outdated stories about yourself. As you hold space for others, your own practice deepens, and the journey becomes a continuous unfolding of personal growth, insight and transformation.

MENTORSHIP

Receive ongoing support throughout your training in our online community. You can ask questions and connect with the fellow facilitators, and Star will be actively present to offer guidance. She personally responds to all questions-when a topic calls for a deeper dive.

  • No fear in our training: We do not make anyone use a trade marked name, instead we allow you to add in your own creativity and blend our training with other modalities.

​

  • The Certificate of Completion: You will have the option to receive the Heal Through Dance Online Somatic Movement & Ecstatic Dance Facilitator Training certificate of completion.

 

  • The online program is laid out in a very easy to follow format with a comprehensive flow with dynamic video content that will be fun to watch and follow along with.

​

  • Join our online community where you can meet the other participants, ask questions, share and discuss our online training tools.

​

  • After you enroll, gain access to the online private Facebook facilitator community. Great place to meet others and ask questions.

​

  • Once you have completed all the online materials and asked your questions, it's time to practice teaching. We recommend doing 6-8 practice teaching sessions. These are informal sessions at your house, or friends house, online or in-person.

​

  • For Certification you will send in a video recording of your class for review. You don't have to send the entire the class. No one else will see the recording except for Star and it is just to make sure you completed a practice teaching session. Star will send back feedback along with a letter and certificate of completion.
